Microtronics S.r.l. Privacy Policy (updated January 2025)
In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), this document describes how Microtronics S.r.l. collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data.

2. Purpose and legal basis of processing
Microtronics processes personal data for the following purposes:
- Contract execution: handling of orders, deliveries, invoicing, after-sales service.
- Legal basis: execution of a contract.
- Informative and operational communications: updates on products or services purchased.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Direct marketing (subject to consent): sending newsletters, promotional offers or personalised communications.
- Legal basis: consent of the person concerned.
- Support and assistance: handling of requests by e-mail, telephone, contact form, social media
- Legal basis: performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.
3. Types of data collected
Depending on the channels used, we can collect:
- Identification data (first name, last name, company)
- Contact data (address, telephone, e-mail, VAT number)
- Economic and transactional data (orders, payments, invoicing)
- Cloud access credentials
We do not collect data belonging to special categories (health, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, etc.) or judicial data.
4. Data retention
Personal data are stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the stated purposes:
Tax obligations: up to 10 years
Customer support / cloud area: for the entire duration of the contract
Curriculum vitae: maximum 24 months
5. Communication and transfer of data
Data may be disclosed to:
- Financial institutions
- Logistics or technical service providers (e.g. OVH for cloud services)
- External collaborators for accounting or certification activities
Any extra-EU transfers will take place in compliance with Articles 45 and 46 of the GDPR.
6. Technical data storage in the cloud software
Technical/personal data relating to the use of products and/or services that the user has formally or contractually requested may be stored/processed by third party companies and/or web/hosting/cloud service operators. Specifically, some of Microtronics S.r.l.'s services are entrusted to the following cloud service provider (OVH), whose information is available below:

Microtronics S.r.l. cannot be held liable in any way for any damages to persons and/or property or for loss of profits of companies and/or firms, that may arise from the total or partial loss of the data held by Microtronics S.r.l. or by third-party service providers. To protect Microtronics S.r.l. and its users, the external service provider (OVH) maintains an active backup service to ensure total data recovery, in addition to a supplementary daily backup service provided by Microtronics S.r.l.
Microtronics S.r.l. considers itself exempt from any liability mentioned above in the event of a fortuitous case or force majeure, understood as events whose effects are inevitable or insurmountable.
7. Rights of the interested party
The user has the right to:
- Access his personal data
- Request rectification or deletion
- Oppose or limit processing
- Request data portability
- Submit a complaint to the Privacy Guarantor

8. Cookie Policy
The site does not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies. We only use:
- Technical session cookies: necessary for navigation and use of the site (e.g. access to reserved areas)
- Functional cookies: to store browsing preferences (e.g. language)
Disabling these cookies could compromise the proper functioning of the site.
9. Changes to the information
Microtronics reserves the right to update this policy. In case of material changes, the user will be given notice by appropriate means (e-mail or notices on the site).
