European Standards - Automatic Doors and Gates

The Directives and Technical Standards that regulate the construction and marketing of automatic and/or motorised gates and doors are numerous and continually updated by the technical commissions for European legislation, below there is a detailed overview:

DIRECTIVES  are European laws which, once " adopted " by individual states, become national laws.

TECHNICAL STANDARDS define the minimum safety requirements and construction criteria dictated by the Directives.
